The 1997 Mitsubishi Montero Evolution isn't the sort of Barn Find you just trip over while cruising the main road. In Forza Horizon 6, it's tucked away in Japan's Shimanoyama area, and the game won't even point you towards it until you've made a bit of progress. If you're saving your cash for upgrades, auctions, or other garage projects, keeping an eye on FH6 Credits can help, but this particular Mitsubishi is all about exploration rather than spending.

Unlocking the rumor first

Before you start hunting around the mountains, make sure you've collected the Orange Stamp from the Discover Japan progression system. That's the trigger. Without it, the Montero Evolution rumor won't show up, and you'll be driving in circles with nothing useful on the map. Once the Orange Stamp is yours, the Barn Find hint appears and gives you a rough search zone. It's not pinpoint accurate, so don't expect the game to hold your hand the whole way.

Where to drive in Shimanoyama

Head for the western side of the map and look for Shimanoyama. The spot you want is on the eastern side of that region, close to a road with a tight run of uphill hairpins. Drive up those switchbacks until the road starts to flatten out. This is where a lot of players miss the turn, because it doesn't look dramatic. Watch for a dirt road splitting off to the east, then take it and stay on that track as it drops downhill. The barn is not far along, so if you're still bouncing down a dirt trail after a long while, you've probably taken the wrong branch.

What makes the Montero Evolution useful

The Montero Evolution is a nice grab if you enjoy dirt routes, cross-country events, or just collecting oddball machines with real rally history behind them. It comes with all-wheel drive, 276 horsepower, and an Offroad rating of 8.0 in D class. No, it won't feel quick on a straight. Its top speed sits around 126.5 mph, and the 0-60 time of 7.51 seconds is nothing wild. Still, that's not really the point of this thing. It feels more at home climbing rough tracks than trying to chase supercars on tarmac.

Why it's worth the detour

Because Barn Finds are free once restored, the Montero Evolution is an easy win for anyone filling out their garage. You only need the Orange Stamp and a few minutes of careful driving through Shimanoyama. After that, it's worth checking other nearby rumors, especially if you're working through every hidden vehicle on the Japan map. And if you'd rather spend your driving time collecting rare FH6 Cars while using FH6 Credits for sale to handle upgrades or purchases elsewhere, this Barn Find still deserves a stop because it costs nothing and adds something genuinely different to your off-road lineup.

Meanwhile, Generation Z is emerging as the fastest-growing demographic in this market, driven by a desire for "self-pleasing consumption" and emotional fulfillment. The boundaries of the consumer market for new sex dolls are constantly expanding; they are no longer the exclusive domain of a niche demographic but have become a mainstream choice for an increasing number of people seeking self-exploration and emotional fulfillment.
